Vega-Elite Race Conversions – B4.1 now available

Just released, the new series of Vega Elite 2WD race conversions for most major top-end race buggies. Featuring CNC machined aerospace 7075 alloy tub chassis & gearbox, motorplate heat sink, rear shock tower, bodyshell and more.

This exciting new conversion changes the weight distribution of the car, allowing it to jump more level & massively helps in-air control and powered landings.

Testing has shown the conversion gives a new more positive feel to the car, allowing for a more aggressive driving style. Flatter jumps, quicker landings and better cornering is bringing noticeably faster and consistent lap times.

Double ‘A-final’ at EPR National

The weekends National at ‘Eden Park Raceway’ saw both principal team drivers in the prestigious ‘A-final’ with the Predator X11’s. Ellis Stafford was the higher of the two, pressing for TQ through the day and battling on the track for the overall win. Kevin Lee also made the top final with a strong showing all through the day.

Ellis Stafford to continue with X11

After racing for the team over the winter season current BRCA National champ’ Ellis Stafford has decided to continue running the X11 for foreseeable future – possibly including the Euro’s later in the year.

The national meeting at Eden Park in a weeks time will hopefully be a good event for the team on home ground; much winter testing has been done at the track with Ellis and the team working on the car.

Watch out for a report from the event, with news and photographs on upcoming new products.

We are pleased to announce that the new X11 Lipo Chassis will be available really soon! After vigorous testing they are now in production. They are being made using the same material as the current chassis. Keep your eyes on this site for the part number – when they are available !!!

The Team Xtreme Team had a brilliant day on Sunday at Stotfold. All the Team did really well despite challenging track conditions.

Well Done to Kev Lee who TQ’ed the meeting! Made a mistake in the final which put him last. Consistent fast driving got him back up to 4th place!

John Spencer came 1st in the B.

Mr Ellis Stafford went blindingly fast – This was the first time out ever with the X11. He qualified 4th in the A and managed to finished 2nd – due to traffic. Once he had passed the traffic there was no stopping him!!

Out of the top ten fastest laps in the final – 7 of them were held between Kev and Ellis.

Woohoo!!

It was a really good fully booked meeting!! Well organised and run!!

Big Bore Shocks now standard.

New shock bodies, shock pistons, and new shock compensator.
Larger shock body = allows 25% more fluid to be held, this allows the piston to pass through more volume of oil making the shock react faster over bumps and jumps.

Pistons = Larger pistons have been designed to allow more fluid to pass through them for a more tune-able shock. All in all this allows more consistent damping for the car. It improves stability, bump handling, landing off high jumps. It allows you to run softer oil to gain grip and roll in the corner with minimal slap. Therefore it doesn’t slap down any more than any other car on the current market and the X11 stabilsers itself quicker.

X-Brace Upgrade Pack.

This upgrade pack is for the XRS and X10.
A beautiful and very strong aluminium cross brace, machined from a single piece of high grade aircraft aluminium, accurately locates the suspension rocker crank pivots, suspension pins, and ball raced steering assembly.

The reduced gear cover is now only required to protect the gearbox internals and is carbon fibre filled to reduce weight and lower centre of gravity.
